Halloween

Halloween

Autumn in our valley is always 1) a little too hot and 2) gorgeous with color. This year, we had a bit of a break from the oppressive autumn heat which made celebrating Halloween all the sweeter.

As always, we loaded up with pumpkins and the like at Larry’s Produce, the best farmers market in the Bay Area. Any market set among vineyards will win every time 🙂

Normally I don’t dress up or go all out for Halloween. Having kids makes Halloween their focus; I put time into what they’re trying to create and often forget about myself. For some reason this year I got it in my head that I wanted to do a Day of the Dead Sugar Skull look. I absolutely loved it and I must say, it was a blast dressing up.

Between the kids school parties, church party/trunk or treat and actual Halloween night (which by the way was pouring rain at times) we were all costumed out by the time November 1st hit. These kids got their money’s worth on their costumes! Till next year 🙂
